A seismic earthquake test with a power of seven and a half richter was carried out on a shake table in the Japan Mikeyi earthquake laboratory, July 2009, and on a seven-story building of a lightweight wooden frame. The magnitude of the earthquake (7.5 magnitudes) is so high that it can happen only once in every 2500 years in residential areas. The earthquake could not destroy the building’s seven-story building, leaving only a minor damage to one of the upper floors. The actual size of the wooden building, during the test, moved sharply around and up and down on the shaking steel table. This table was designed to withstand a load of 1.2 million kilograms, a force created by an earthquake, and a 180 per cent more power-consuming earthquake in Northridge, California, in 1994.
